Our students have the opportunity to use LEGO robotics sets as part of the FIRST LEGO League Challenge. Our students would use the requested supplies to complete multiple robotic and community challenges with the use of computer science and teamwork. FIRST does a terrific job of presenting a challenging, yet impactful, world issue to the students. Students then work together to create an Innovation Project to make an impact on the world issue and they create a robot to solve many Robot Game challenges. Our students are such busy-bodies when they get the opportunity to work with robotics hands-on in class! The requested supplies would most definitely give our students the opportunity to do just that! Teamwork, communication, critical thinking, and computer science skills would abound!
