My school is a very diverse, inner city school full of bright and capable students. Most of my students come from Asian background, which is why I have chosen these books. I hope these books spark their interest and get them to love reading. Since many of my students are English Language Learners, reading is difficult for them. Hopefully, students can find a book that speaks to them through the novels of different reading levels and picture books.
