My students absolutely love to read, well almost all of them love to read. The books in our classroom have become outdated, well-used, and .... loved (to put it nicely). This project will reinvigorate our classroom library and the student's excitement to read. Falling in love with books is about making a life long connection with characters and the author of that book. Please help me give the chance for a new generation of students to fall in love with a new generation of characters and authors. These will be used for not just this class of second graders, but future generations. The student's will be able to engage in meaningful silent reading and also hopefully chose to read during their free time.
