We need 30 small electronic pianos so that all students in class will be able to have a keyboard at their desk, and not have to share the 50 year old classroom piano. The pianos will help my students, from Kindergarten to 5th grade, learn basic piano and give them hands on experience with the keyboard, showing that music can be learned and understood by all! This will give each one an opportunity to explore their own feelings, interest, and aptitude toward music by learning basic piano skills. The students will also be learning Theory of Music and the pianos will make it more interactive than just looking at a whiteboard.
