This project will provide my students with the equipment that I need to engage my students at a higher level and bring more engineering and code to our lessons. The hands-on robotics will change the idea of just learning code; it will give it meaning. My students will have the chance to experience robotics as they transform abstract STEM concepts into concrete experiences using the hands-on approach of robotics. As of now, they only use online coding websites and regular data collection devices in class. This will be a game changer! Using the LEGO® MINDSTORMS® science kit will give our core curriculum an engaging twist. By utilizing the data-logging capabilities of the LEGO® MINDSTORMS®, we will be able to enhance their overall classroom experience with real-time data to analyze and graph. The students will gain stronger critical thinking abilities through problem-solving and explanation. It will bring much higher engineering and coding aspects to the student's education.
