My students are some of the most eager and energetic kids who, unfortunately, come from low-income families. School funding is also very limited. Luckily, my students don't let that stop them from doing their absolute best. I see the ambition in their eyes when we inspect living earthworms and nonliving gummy worms in our classroom. I hear the excitement in their voices when we sing and do our dance about recycling. I feel their love for learning in everything we do.
