Help me give my students headphones to help tackle their Reading assignments this year! We are using many technology programs such as Compass, Readworks, Flipgrid, Edmodo, etc. to accomplish all the Teks standards in our curriculum. As the teacher, I would be able to differentiate instruction with the use of headphones so that all students can be successful in the academic setting. Bilingual/ESL students could hear and learn new vocabulary, definitions, and how to use that new vocabulary in sentences. Students with learning disabilities could hear stories being read aloud as they follow along which focuses on fluency and comprehension. Students would be able collaborate on group projects and scaffold off of other students' feedback as well. Headphones would greatly impact our success in the classroom!
