Everything I do in my classroom is in the best interests of my students. Can you imagine having to sit on a hard chair all day? I want to offer my students working spots that are comfortable and allow them to have options to learn their best. Right now, flexible seating in my classroom room, is students laying or sitting around the room on the floor to complete their work in their most effective learning environment. Giving students the ability to have flexible seating helps increase motivation and engagement as well as allows for more oxygen flow to the brain and improves core strength and posture. This project is extremely important to my students and their learning. Bean bags, yoga balls, wobble chairs and stools can easily be moved around the classroom, which will be great when students are working collaboratively with their peers but can also provides students with the ability to create the best working spot anywhere in our classroom!
