Small group learning is one of the most powerful tools I use to help my students grow. Having exciting and varied literacy activities and resources promotes engagement for those students working independently while I work with small groups. These new books and current magazines will help catch and hold student interest at a variety of reading levels and in a variety of areas of interest. Whether researching a topic of interest in science social studies or math or reading one of the latest on a favorite series of novels, increasing the variety of choice adds another level of engagement for students.
