My school is located in the foothills of North Carolina. Our students and their families have been impacted by the loss of furniture manufacturing businesses in our area. We want our school to be the place they feel acceptance and positivity. The goal of my project is to create a concession stand where our parents and students are able to come together to enjoy food and fellowship at various school, athletic, and community events. The popcorn and hot dog machines will allow us to provide our families with low-cost food items and help us create an environment that encourages positive interaction with other families, our teachers, our staff, and community leaders.

About my class
