If funded these items will help me expose my students to a wider variety of outdoor and indoor activities. Not all of my students play sports or are even interested in traditional sports like football, basketball, soccer, etc. Items like ladder golf, boccee ball, and yard pong all promote healthy competition while requiring these kids to be active and engaged. We live in a time where kids are becoming increasingly more sedentary and it's a challenge to engage them in physical activity. These items would expose them to new activities in the hopes they will find something they love and can participate in for the longevity of their lives.
