I am asking for donations to help supply my classroom with noise cancelling headsets and headphones to use for individual assignments on the computers. I work with a variety of students who are on the autism spectrum. Many of them have sensory issues in which they aren't able to complete classwork successfully. My students use different types of assistive technology to regulate sensory overload. By using headphones as a type of assistive technology, they are able to complete assignments, work on projects, and do homework. With this donation to my classroom, you will be directly effecting the success of my students and their learning outcomes.
