Greetings to all, Welcome aboard this magnificent journey of inclusion. Have you heard the saying " It takes a village to raise a child". Well, my kindergarten students have shown that it takes a child to include everyone into an inclusive neighborhood that recognizes all people with or without disabilities. My students have learned to respect diversity in their classroom environment and decided to expand on this respect by creating a population of diverse people to be included in their neighborhood project. This project broaden their awareness about how people are unique in one way or another and yet actually the same in many other ways. Therefore, respecting differences in people is a life long skill that will make them great citizens in their communities.
