The OCS program is intended to meet the needs of a select and specified group of students with disabilities who need a modified curriculum that focuses on post-school employment and independent living. We work with students ages 14-21 in a regular high school, but tailor classes and projects to meet their individual needs. Our students are regular teenagers in all of the most important ways but their diverse needs sometimes need creative solutions to help them meet their goals. The students are also on a different graduation track that encourages School Based Enterprise, Community Based Instruction and on-site job training. Because our school is low-income, we often need help providing these experience free-of-charge for our students.
