My students are very dedicated and love making music. Band is their second home and is often the reason they come to school. Every day I have to kick them out of the Band room; they just don't want to leave! We are a Title 1 school, and money is very tight in our area. There is no money in our district for purchasing new instruments. Despite the lack of quality instruments my students work extremely hard, and the Band continues to be very successful.
