My students are a very diverse group of Fourth graders. They are incredibly motivated to learn new and complex concepts. My school is an interesting mix of neighborhood children and students from a part of town that does not have its own neighborhood school. My class has a huge range of learning styles and abilities, and a great diversity of fluency in English. Most students have access to the supplies they need for school, but many students do not have enough food or clothing at home. The amazing thing about all my students is that have an incredible love for life and learning.
