We are a high-needs public elementary school serving in a community comprised of minority and immigrant families. Many of our students are living below the poverty line. Our school has entered its second year under new leadership and have a dedicated staff who work diligently on creating only the highest expectations for our students. Many of our students enter grades academically below the expected average and work hard at trying to close the achievement gap. To inspire passion and pride in their school, our staff helps offer gardening, engineering, family workshops, community celebrations, after school programs, additional professional counseling, sports, and mentoring. Our students are loving and inquisitive children. They are excited about all the changes going on in their school and community. They show a resilience and strength that inspire all that get to know them.
