I want to encourage my students to read more so that they can improve their reading comprehension and vocabulary skills. To do that, I provide a lending library in my classroom so that students can participate in 10 minutes of daily silent reading. This way, students don't even have to go to the public library to find books. I want to make it as easy and accessible as possible for students to realize how great picking up a book and getting lost in another world is. My bookshelves were filled when I left my classroom before Covid; when I returned, only a quarter of my books remained. I'm not sure what happened to all the books, but this project will allow me to replenish my stacks. Thank you in advance for considering my project.
