My goal is to provide an environment that will suit each of my student's learning needs. A whiteboard table will be useful during our small group math instruction for mini-lessons and guided practice. We will also utilize the whiteboard table for word building and spelling practice. Clipboards will be used for activities that require working around the room. Students that prefer to work in areas where there isn't a table to write on will also be able to utilize the clipboards. Many of our students have difficulty focusing on instruction. Wiggle seats and chair bands will help our students that have trouble sitting still. Fidgets like therapy putty and sensory balls will help my students keep their hands busy.
