This is my first year teaching second grade and I want to be able to provide an environment that is fun, welcoming and promotes learning. The carpet will help bring my class together as a community while we do morning meetings. The students will also be able to sit on the carpet during instructional time and look up at the anchor chart easel. The headphones will allow students to learn independently on their tablets without distracting other students with noise. Every one of these items will be used to enhance my teaching and student learning.
