SEL Activities in this proposal support strong self-awareness through direct SEL instruction offered through in-person, hybrid and distance learning models, supporting students in the Gerlach K-12 area of rural Northern Nevada. Imagination and self-awareness are the focus, with materials requested to inspire colorfully detailed pages in GK12 student SEL Journals. Mindful Puzzles will create a personalized point of focus as a mindfulness activity students can access throughout the year. Each student will create their own photo journal to reflect on 2021-2022. With materials from this grant, students will also create one nature inspired block print. My request for an overhead document scanner is to support detailed instruction during distance and hybrid learning days. Our student body can vary in number, any extras are likely to be used by students who move into the area. Thank you!
