The use of an Apple iPad in the speech and language therapy setting will greatly enhance my students' ability to meet their goals/objectives to ultimately increase success in academic settings. Applications on the iPad will be used to target all aspects of speech-language such as articulation, language, pragmatics (social), fluency, ect. By donating to this project, an iPad will allow the students an outlet to engage in speech-language therapy that is fun and interactive; therefore, increasing overall participation levels! The protective case will allow the iPad to benefit the students for a prolonged amount of time! By introducing technology into the therapy room, students are invited to improve upon speech-language skills in a unique way that will increase their desire to learn and participate in the educational setting!
