Flexible seating gives my students a voice in their education. They are able to control where their learning takes place. Flexible seating will allow my students to take charge of their learning and make the choices that work best for them. Students will be able to choose a location in the classroom that works for them. My students this past year were constantly wanting to work in a variety of locations in our room such as: at different tables, sitting under tables with clip boards, or sitting or laying on the floor with a clip board. These were not comfortable options. I want to ensure that my students are comfortable while learning. I noticed this past year, my students desperately needed a more kid friendly learning environment. This year I hope to make that happen by giving them many different choices like a Balance Ball Chair or a Lap Desk within our classroom.
