As a Reading Specialist at a small community school, my goal is to help all students be the best readers they can be. Each student who is learning to read needs support and encouragement, sometimes in many different ways. As school budgets are reduced, it forces us to take a creative approach to providing the services our students need. Donors Choose is one way I have found to tap into resources that can directly influence my students and improve their opportunities to learn. I am thankful to work in such a caring school community and appreciate all those who make Donors Choose such a great organization.
