Our schools serves a low income community which provides free breakfast and lunch for most students. The population is very diverse. Many families struggle to spend time with their children. Very few parents are able to read and provide opportunities for writing. Many families work two shifts to be able to provide for their kids. It is our job as teachers to nurture all the students in our classrooms, to provide unique learning opportunities through a wide variety of techniques and tools.

About my class
