Welcome! I'm Gabby Rhodes, and I have been teaching for 17 years. I have taught the last 14 years in a small, rural town in WV, where the majority of my students are economically disadvantaged. I teach third grade and I place a heavy emphasis on STEM learning. The focus of my teaching is to make sure that my classroom is an active learning environment, where students can be seen moving about always involved in different activities and projects and enthusiastic about learning. After each year of teaching, I love what I do even more than the year before. I wake up and have a job that I look forward to doing. My passion in life has always been teaching children, and my goal is that my students will enter my classroom excited to learn, excited to attend school, and excited to share their experiences. I want what they learn in my classroom to be what drives and inspires them throughout their life.
