The materials I am requesting will help motivate and encourage my students to write creatively. I am planning on using the Polariod camera in the classroom for the students to take pictures of a particular place or thing around the school and use it to teach about descriptive writing with the picture they took. It will teach them to look into details to expand their writing. I will also use the camera for class events and have students write a report about the event. They can use the color printer to write articles about class events in form of a newspaper article. The donations will help me incorporate technology in my language arts class and will help the students with writing both fiction and non fiction essays. The social studies and science technology items will help me integrate non-fiction into their writing. I will use the games and interactive globe to make content area engaging so the students can include it in their writing. They can also use the Smart Globe as a center when the students have completed their work and write about something they learned and share it with the class.
