Technology can be a powerful learning tool if students can access it. My students utilize online reading programs to enhance learning and some of those programs require students to listen to and watch short videos to gain a better understanding of the topic. Can you imagine a classroom of computers all talking at the same time? Using kid-friendly school headphones will keep students from being distracted if the computers are talking, if those around them are talking or if there are noises coming from outside the classroom. Distractions make it difficult to concentrate, but using headphones will help students keep their attention on the presentation. Help my young scholars focus on independence and learning.
