Reading is not students most favorite subject.. It is a daily challenge to get a struggling student to read or attempt to read. My goal is to create a space with fun seating in my classroom that will encourage all students that reading can be fun in a reading center, and a way to visit other worlds without leaving the classroom. My reading classroom is going to be set up in a small group rotation. There will be 3 groups working on a different strategy of reading. Those students who are independently reading will be using the special seating in the rotation. Groups will rotate throughout the reading block allowing each student a turn to read independently in a comfortable student friendly environment .
