Students in FIRST Robotics team at Tewksbury Memorial High School are in desperate need of a drill press to create accurate holes in aluminum components for their robot designs. Students on FRC Team 1474 - Titans design, fabricate and build a custom, competitive robot every year as part of the FIRST Robotics program. They can conceive and design amazing machines, but need the proper tools to manufacture the custom components to ensure they are built correctly, accurately and with the ability to be interchangeable. Today they use hand power tools for this, which lack the accuracy needed to make truly interchangeable components.
