Teaching 4 year old Kindergarten in German involves learning through stories and activities, exploring and questioning and play. I teach in the city in a school lucky enough to be city wide where we meet children from all over the city; however, public school funds barely cover staff and classrooms are becoming crowded with larger numbers. Our children come in eager to explore and are always searching for new activities, yet it is becoming more and more difficult to provide the cool technology and fast paced things that they are absorbed in at home.
