Is help on the way? My students attend a 100% Title I school in Tennessee. The student population is 98% African American and 2% Caucasian. Their school is located in the poorest zip code in the city. The students show very little interest in reading for fun and most of them are reading below grade level. I am always looking for innovative ways to spark my students' interest in learning. Unfortunately, the best attention grabbers are not easily as sessile to us due to budget constraints. Please help my to spark my students' interest in learning so that they can have the opportunities they deserve and a grater chance at being successful.
