Being an economically challenged community, our school is lacking when it comes to providing technology in the classroom for our students. In this day and age the more you can present students with technology tools the better prepared they will be for the real world. Providing Chromebook's for my students will give them the opportunity to explore and strengthen their science and collaboration skills. Currently the teacher computer is the only available way for my students to do web based research. My goal is to start with one Chromebook station for my students to rotate through during stations and work my way up to 4 Chromebook's. This will allow my students access to many websites and applications to enhance their learning. Many of my students don't have a computer at home, their access at school could be their only opportunity to experience this technology.
