Flexible seating will help all students by offering choices. Some students need to wiggle on a wobble seat, some need to feel snuggled in the beanless beanbag, and yet others can bounce on the ball giving them movement while working. Every year there are several students who just aren't ready for a chair and table. Maybe they never will be, for that reason I believe it's only fair to offer alternative seating. Giving students options because they are not cookie cutters. Although I'd like to offer flexible seating, tables and chairs will remain as an option. Giving choices means I see my students as individuals and not one big class.
