Flexible seating allows the students to have a say in their learning experience. While some students work best at a desk others need options besides the carpet. By adding stools, comfortable balls, and cushions students can find the best place to focus and let out some of their wiggles while completing tasks! "Not only does flexible seating options such as the requested stools, balls, and chairs improve student learning, but it also encourages collaboration and synergy to take place." Working collaboratively is one of my students favorite ways to learn. The flexibility that these seating will allow the students to gather in groups to complete their tasks.
