This year our school has taken on personalized learning. With that, I have implemented station rotations in my classroom in order to help build my students independence and allow more one on one time with them in small groups. Flexible seating is a huge component to this and it can improve instruction in my class because students get to choose where they want to sit, in order to be their best learning self! Students have become more invested in their learning. Letting my students sit where they want allows them to be more comfortable and in addition, allows them to be more vested in their tasks.
