My students have the ability to collaborate and choose where they work in our flexible classroom. If you were to walk in our room, you might find students sitting in rocker chairs on the ground, at a picnic table or simply just laying on the ground. Our classroom is not traditional and my students really enjoy it. Students can work together or by themselves in a comfortable manner. The ability to choose helps to inspire students to take control of their learning.
