Our students are so creative and long to learn more of the 21st Century skills they will need to compete in the future. This MakerBot 3D printer & supplies, used with online elementary-appropriate software, like TinkerCad, will help my kids use their math and innovation skills to hold their creations in their hands! What an amazing experience it will be for them! By combining 3D printing with computer-aided design, my students can have fun designing things that they imagine. Simple tools such as TinkerCAD can help even the youngest children to make 3D printable parts. They can then explore the link between software and print, between their imagination and a machine that makes it real. This will not only be fun for them but will give them a real connection with technology. By linking their creativity to the making process of a thing that they want kids can explore the entire journey from file to part. I cannot wait to see the joy and amazement in my students' eyes!
