My students are in a "Significant Support Needs" class that is considered the most restricted. My students will be participating in Special Olympics this year. At our school, we provide small, structured classes and differentiated instruction to students receiving special education, grades 9th though 12th. My students struggle in traditional school settings, but do participate when their skills/behaviors allow. My students participate in a comprehensive learning program that focuses on building self-esteem, life skills, functional academics, and communication skills.

About my class
