An engaging and interesting classroom space is CRITICAL for happy, productive scholars! Having two more "foof chairs" to round out my discussion and collaboration area will allow ALL of my students to have comfortable seating which encourages them to participate in class discussions and be a vital part of meaning-making with their peers. I want my classroom to be a playground for the mind, a space that inspires my students to be curious and creative. I have found that "foofs" (colorful memory foam beanbag chairs) are exciting for students and encourage them to fully engage as learners in a larger lively discussions and collaborative work in class.
