Giving the students the opportunity to collaborate with others in the classroom and utilizing their creativity can help enhance the atmosphere of the entire school. Positive behaviors should be recognized and rewarded as positivity can be contagious. The students would be able to learn about different design programs while creating fun, exciting items to share with other students in our school. A few of the things the students have talked about creating are buttons, keychains, t-shirts, bags, water bottles and so much more. Beginning during our STEAM class, we are hoping to eventually get others involved so this worthy program continues and we are able teach younger students who wish to be a part of this process. By helping our STEAM class to get a Cricut Explore Air 2 and a variety of tools and supplies, the sky is the limit on what the students could create for others. My students love to be creative and dream up tons of possibilities. Having these items would allow them to do just that. They would get to share their ideas with others through their creations and who knows what roads may open up for them as they get older.
