My students are 3rd grade students who work very hard everyday. They are fun and like to have fun. I try to make them laugh everyday. My school is a Title I school in Florida. We are classified as such due to the high concentration of students on free and reduced lunch. I also have a high concentration of second language learners. This is important to note because we are providing language support in the classroom while learning all of the necessary content area material. The students in my class are often times coming from single parent homes where the parents work many hours and may be unable to provide the time and financial support needed to promote Florida's current technology driven curriculum.
