My students have been using a very small, worn out carpet. They all want to sit on the carpet for stories read aloud, but there just isn't enough room for all of them! "We value space, to create a handsome environment and its potential to inspire social, affective and cognitive learning." - Loris Malaguzzi With the purchase of a larger carpet, especially one with some individual boundaries, it will help my students sit comfortably while soaking up knowledge and developing social skills away from their tables. It will also offer another alternative to staying at their tables for group assignments. I know my students will LOVE the bright colors!
