With the materials we asked for we plan to set up a pretend Veterinarian Clinic in the classroom so the children can practice what they learned after our visit to the local Vet Clinic. We also hope that the children learn how to care for dogs. The grooming station will offer they children the opportunity to practice caring for the dogs which we learned about while visiting the Grooming section of the local pet store. We hope that the children will learn how important dogs can be to society. The books we ordered will help the children see and understand that dogs can do jobs such as: Search and Rescue, Service Dogs, Therapy Dogs and K-9 Police Dogs.
