Hello everyone, I teach in a lower income school in Orangeburg, SC. My students are in first grade and of varying abilities. My classroom's theme for this year will be following the movie Moana. In the movie, Moana everyone expects her to be the typical girl... but, no one expects what is to come. This is the aim for my students this year although, people expect them to be the typical student I expect them to go above and beyond the societal standards.
