Literacy is the key to success across all subject areas! There are a wide range of ability levels in each class I teach (I teach all students in grades 9-12). A student who cannot read or write at grade level is less likely to succeed in math or science; it also limits their future earning potential. My high school students need a safe and fun station in the classroom where they can be pulled for immediate small group interventions, as well as for one-on-one help. By creating an inviting center, with access to quality materials, I hope to help my students achieve their learning (and life!) goals.

About my class
