A classroom library is the focal point of the room. Having books displayed, organized, and available is key to creating this space. This space can be created with the Classroom Space-Saver Bookcases.
The classroom library is a space where the love of reading grows in young and impressionable minds. It is the space where students who are intimidated by reading can become more comfortable; it is a place where the students who are struggling readers become more confident and where the students who never thought they could read a chapter book eventually read a chapter series.
My goal is to continue to teach and foster social and emotional growth in my students. Adding the Building Empathy Library and Learning to Get Along book set into our library will help the students not only become readers but leaders!
With your help, I will create a classroom library that not only encourages the love of reading but also helps the students grow socially and emotionally. Thank you!
