This project would give some extra resources to my students and to my school, which has very limited resources. We come from a high poverty school and the students do not often have their necessary supplies, let alone materials such as thes. It would be very helpful to have this project funded for both myself and my students. Books are helpful to introduce lessons and concepts, such as the fraction books in this project. These will be used to refer back to often. Working with math manipulatives Learning hands-on Reading content related books Working in small guided groups Partner work Using science materials like the Simple Machines Set, and Butterfly Pavillion will actively engage students.
