My students need a class set of headphones in order to work on iPads and computers during math centers, science instruction, and STEM projects. Quality headphones will ensure that all students have the same opportunity to hear their lessons. During math centers, students will work on an iPad program that provides individualized instruction that the students need on their "just-right" level. At the same time, I will be pulling small groups to work with me and others will be completing their daily math practice. Headphones will help provide a distraction-free environment to all students in the classroom. We will also use the iPads to complete Project Lead the Way (PLTW) lessons and activities that incorporate science, technology, engineering, and math. PLTW is a program designed to teach students how to be collaborative problem solvers and build upon their critical thinking skills. PLTW allows learning to be more engaging through inquiry, discovery, and project-based learning. A class set of headphones will help all students be able to hear the instructions and directions needed to complete their projects. Please consider helping my class reach our goal, which will provide us with the tools we need to be successful this year. Thank you!
