I want my students to have the experience of sitting down with a great book. Having a class set of books will let each of my 33 5th graders have their own copy of a great piece of literature. Now that my kids are in 5th grade they read pretty well. I want them to go from learning to read to loving to read. I want to teach them to love reading. I want them to get the good feeling of sitting down with a new book in their hands and just enjoy the story. These class sets will be taken well care of and used for many years to come.
